Today, May 23, 2025, marked a moment of pride for Sipalaynons as one of our own, Anne Quesia T. Calderon, representing Western Visayas, secured the 3rd Place in the News Writing (English) Competition at the National Schools Press Conference 2025.

Her coach, Ms. Lorgin G. Nuniala, is currently with her throughout the competition held in Ilocos Sur. Calderon is a student at Gil Montilla National School and the news editor of The Reaper, the official student publication of GMNHS.
