“Sayawit Kontra Bisyo”

Every June, we remember the ill effects of to***co being addictive and harmful. Every individual is encourage to join the anti-smoking campaign and prevent the youth from starting the habit of smoking and support current to***co user to QUIT TO***CO USE NOW!

In celebration of the 2023 Larena Youth Summit, the Larena RHU together with the Larena Youth Care Organization (LYCO) presents "Sayawit Kontra Bisyo", as part of the various contests in the said event.

Sayawit Kontra Bisyo) will provide opportunities for the participants to showcase their creativity, style, talents, and skills through the arts of singing, dancing, playing an instrument, and other activities that will help boost the self-esteem, confidence, and assurance of the participants and bring the community together.

This activity will enjoin the youth in doing worthwhile and productive activities that will promote healthier lifestyles, increase awareness on the consequences of alcohol, to***co and illicit drugs use and provide opportunities to showcase local talents and promote what a smoke/alcohol/drug- free community is.

LOOK: RHU Larena congratulates the winners of the Larong Pinoy Social Media Challenge as its promotion activity for the month of March. Participating groups happily claimed their prizes at the Mayor's office as likewise announced by the staff and Mayor Cyrus Vincent Calibo.

🏆 1st prize- SPSHS students led by Mairi Isy Kilat
🏆 2nd prize- LYCO members led by Laura Claire Ponce
🏆 3rd prize- SSC students led by Thryone Iven Tejano.

RHU Larena informs all the participating teams/groups of the "Larong Pinoy Social Media Challenge" to come tomorrow April 19, 2023 at the Larena Municipal Hall- Mayor's Office at 10 am for announcement of the winners and to claim your biggest surprises.

One representative per team will do.

'BEAT THE HEAT, LARENIANS'☀️🥳

Submission of entries is extended until tomorrow March 31, 2023 at exactly 5pm. Don't miss out cash prizes. See the link below for further details.

Rural Health Unit Larena presents to you the "Larong Pinoy Social Media Challenge" this month of March. As it advocates physical activity and ensures the safety of the kids, let's be a part of this playful experience.

Inviting everyone from Larena who is 10-24 years old to flaunt your creativity. Submission of entries starts today until March 30, 2023 at 12pm. Just follow the guidelines posted.
Mechanics:
• Film a TikTok video of youth playing traditional “Larong Pilipino” games. Participants will record an original video of them playing games such as Tagu-taguan, Tumbang Preso, Luksong Tinik, etc.
• Group must be composed of minimum of 3 persons and maximum of 7 persons.
• Video submission should be at least (1) minute but should not exceed (2) two minutes. Participants must convey a clear and impactful message in the time frame given.
• In keeping with Minimum Public Health Standards, all participants must be from the same family or household bubble.
• Participants may use any music. Post-editing and inclusion of animations and graphics are encouraged.
• Video should not include inappropriate content such as nudity, lewd actions, and curse words.
• Should reflect messaging and content based on the theme (should be relevance, original, and clear)
• Video submission shall be uploaded on the participant’s personal TikTok and Facebook accounts. Entries should also tag and of Larena. Include hashtags and mention/tag the page.
