MARCH 14, 2023

The Municipal Sanitary Section of Polomolok headed by Mr. Ferdinand O. Frigillana- Sanitary Inspector III, conducted an Information Education Campaign to the Barangay Captain of Polomolok and DILG Polomolok on Malaria-Dengue Disease in regards to the increasing cases in the Municipality.

The Provincial Sanitary Office in the representation of Mr. Jose Baroquillo, the Supervising Sanitary Inspector and the Provincial Malaria-Dengue Coordinator gave updates and discussed the mode of transmission, causes and symptoms of having that disease.

(These are the following Barangay with Number of Dengue cases)

With this.the Municipal Health Office of Polomolok headed by Dr. Chariz May Abalos- OIC MHO is looking forward to the collaborative efforts of the leaders in respective Barangay in Polomolok to conduct and intensify efforts, activities and projects like IEC ( Information Drive), Operation Kulob, Larva Survey and misting operation during outbreak only.

It was a successful re-accreditation of the TB DOTS Program of MHO POLOMOLOK, with the collaborative efforts of our medical personnel Dr. Chariz May V. Abalos our OIC-Municipal Health Officer,..Dr. Wynlee Rhm Catolico, Infectious Disease Cluster Head,.. Gerlyn Ricafort,RN.NTP Coordinator (Main) Jenilie Iyog, RN, NTP Coordinator (PECC) June Michelle Mirasol RMT, Laboratory ,,together with the support of the Local Chief Executive of LGU POLOMOLOK, Hon. Bernie Palencia.

Moving forward, the TB Dots Polomolok will continue to give free medical services to patients/clients and communities.
