"My prescription as my love letter"
____
Rx. The medical prescription a doctor gives to the patient is not just a piece of paper that contains a list of meds, how many to buy and when to take it.
It is not just a grocery list nor is it just a to-do list.
It contains our well thought out plan to make you feel better, to treat you. To treat that lingering rhinitis, to let you breath easier after a night of coughing, to eventually lower your temp to normal after suffering from high grades of fever. It is carefully planned to include the patient's history, previous medicine intake, allergies and likely cause of the illness.
Prescriptions from one patient to another may be similar, but these are never entirely the same! The sharing of prescription is just as dangerous as spreading the illness.
I personally think of my prescriptions as my love letter to my patients. Anti hypertensives, Anti diabetics, Antibiotics, when written down actually translates to "take care and get better, now!" Meron pang P.S, "follow up after 1 week", This translates to "amping pirme".
So, if you're experiencing some health-related issues, consult your doctor and get that love letter prescription especially made only for you!
