'Beyond the Basics: Essential of Mandibular Reconstruction'

The Head & Neck Reconstructive Surgery and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery subspecialties are spearheading a post-graduate event on September 7, 2024 at the AVR1, 5th floor, Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center.

This course will discuss on how to approach mandibular tumor cases with regards to their possible surgical treatment and reconstructive techniques; as securing the separation of the oral cavity compartment with the other areas of the head and neck, oral competence, and proper occlusion to maintain its function are the challenges the needs to be overcome in the surgical treatment of these mandibular tumor cases.

This event will cover management dilemmas, pitfalls, current practices, and innovations to address these cases as to enlighten and help our fellow ORL-HNS surgeons in providing better quality of life for our patients.

Lectures will be incorporated prior to the workshop proper to give a background on mandibular tumors and its surgical approach
