DRIVE TO PROTECT: SAFE STREETS, SAFE CHILDREN
Road Safety Month 2025
University Health Services | Visayas State University

This May, the University Health Service of Visayas State University stands with the nation in celebrating Road Safety Month with the theme:
“Drive to Protect: Safe Streets, Safe Children.”

Children are among the most vulnerable road users. As we move through our daily lives—on wheels or on foot—let us commit to safer practices that protect the lives of the youngest members of our communities.
🔸 Slow down near schools and pedestrian zones
🔸 Follow speed limits and traffic signs
🔸 Never use mobile phones while driving
🔸 Wear seatbelts and use child safety seats
🔸 Educate others on road safety awareness

Together, we can create roads that are not just routes, but safe paths for every child’s journey.
Because every safe street is a step toward a healthier, brighter future for all.

UNITED in HEALTH and SERVICE (UHS)

All for Service!

As the 101st VSU Anniversary unfolded in full color and celebration, we stood behind the scenes — medics working day and night, ready for every emergency, every call, every life that needed care.

It wasn’t easy. Fatigue was real. But the spirit to serve was stronger.

To my fellow medics: your dedication, teamwork, and silent sacrifices made a difference. To those we helped, thank you for trusting us.

This is what it means to serve beyond the call of duty. Proud to be part of the force that stood guard while others celebrated.
