My son had a neonatal pneumonia when I gave birth to him. He was in NICU for 8 days right after the delivery via CS operation. He was given antibiotics thru IV and was given oxygen to support his breathing. As he grew, he easily gets cough, and it gets worse. He is a high risk asthmatic. Way back August 2019, nagising na lng ako na umiiyak na ang bunso ko. He was catching his breath. I gave him his medication as prescribed (nebulizer) and even doubled it, pero hirap pa rin syang huminga. Hanggang sa napansin ko na lng na parang umiiba na kulay nya. So I rushed him to the nearest hospital. He was confined for 5 days and had to get oxygen support for 3 days so he can breathe properly. After that, napansin ko every month na sya hinihika. So I decided to have him checked sa isang pulmo pedia in Dec.2019. He was prescribed w/ steroids straight for 3 months. Since Jan.2020, di na sya inatake ng hika. Natapos ang 3 months medication March 2020. Di kami nakabalik sa pulmo pedia (as instructed) due to lockdown. Pero since then nman, di na cya hinika ulit. Akala ko okay na.

January 2021, hinika ulit sya and it was serious. Natakot ako. Bumalik sa akin yung scenario na he was catching his breath and nag iba na kulay nya. Nag steroids ulit sya along with nebulizer, pero 4 days passed wala akong nakitang improvement. Natakot ako. Ang hirap pa nman magpa ospital kasi baka maging COVID positive agad c bunso ko. I then contacted my mentor GMD. Kumuha ako ng isang bote ng INTRA kasi wala akong pera at that time. I gave him 2 jiggers, 3x a day. And it may seem unbelievable but after 2 days (total of 12 jiggers consumed), nawala yung hingal at hirap nya sa paghinga. Pinaubos ko sa kanya ang isang bote even though ok na sya. From now on, I will only entrust my bunso and other kids sa INTRA. Salamat sa INTRA at naiwasan namin na maospital c bunso.

Those who are unaware, our brother went through a very challenging times of his life. In 2018 he underwent incision to a penny sized lump on his scalp. It was movable, so no imaging of any sort was ordered and the procedure was done under local anesthesia. Because of the location, it bled profusely, his blood pressure went high and the operation was aborted. The doctor was able to get enough specimen to send for testing and the results came back as, poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. This type of skin cancer can be aggressive and it can spread to other parts of the body, causing serious complications if left untreated.

No advice was given regarding treatment but our brother took charge of his health by going through natural chemotherapy in Subic, Philippines. He responded well to the treatment but because it was not properly removed and knowing the characteristic of a cancer, in the span of almost 4 years it grown even bigger than it was.

This time he consulted an oncologist and was referred to see a reconstructive surgeon. Prior to that, a CT scan was needed but because of the pandemic, getting appointments was challenging and besides, his kidney test level was elevated which would hinder dye injection for the procedure.

And we wanted to shout out for joy because the biopsy results from the tumor and lymph nodes that were removed are NEGATIVE for cancer cells! His doctors could not even believed because even by just looking at the specimen he was already talking for him to undergo more treatments.

There is indeed a great power in prayer, and in coming before the God who cares more than we could even imagine. He knows our need, and He is at work on our behalf. That is how great His love is for us. He is the God of miracles, He never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, Amen!
