Look// “The BCMT CL-01-2024 MARAGTAS under Bravo Company, 1504 Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion initiated Feeding Program”

The Citizen Army of Surigao del Sur recently organized a meaningful feeding program to support our communities, reflecting our unwavering commitment to serving the nation not just through defense, but also by addressing social needs. This initiative, held at San Vicente Elementary School, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur on march 13, 2025.

With the support of our dedicated Reservists and local partners, we were able to provide meals to the children. The event aimed to alleviate hunger, promote health, and foster a deeper bond between the Philippine Army Reservist and the people we serve.

The feeding program wasn’t just about providing food, but also about showing the spirit of solidarity and service. Volunteers from the Reserve Force worked hand in hand to prepare and distribute meals, making sure that each individual received their share with care and attention. It was an opportunity for us to further build relationships with the people, while demonstrating our shared responsibility in supporting the welfare of the community.

As we wrap up this activity, we express our gratitude to Reservist who contributed, volunteering, or support in any form. This feeding program is just one of the many ways the Philippine Army Reservists strive to make a difference. “6th RESCOM-Wide Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity in Celebration of the 128th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary”

In relation to the 128th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army celebration ,the 1504th Community Defense Center, 15th Regional Community Defense Group Reserve Command, Philippine Army under Lieutenant Colonel NOEL A FRIAS (OS) PA, CDC Director participated the 6th Simultaneous Wide Blood Donation Activity held in two (2) strategic locations within the province of Surigao del Sur particularly in NEMSU Main Campus, Brgy Rosario, Tandag City and NEMSU Bislig Campus, Brgy Maharlika Bislig City on March 8, 2025 , this event aimed to show our unwavering commitment to service, not just to the country, but also to those in need of life-saving blood donation.

The activity saw an overwhelming turnout from soldiers, Reservist personnel, ROTC Cadets, Civilian volunteers and other government agencies who generously gave their time and support. Together, we were able to collect more number of blood bags, which will go on to save countless lives in the community. This endeavor highlighted the importance of solidarity, compassion, and patriotism as we continue to uphold our mission of service to the nation.

On behalf of the RESERVE COMMAND PHILIPPINE ARMY, thank you for your participation and support. This activity was a powerful reminder that in times of need, we are all united in serving and helping each other.

Joint Cadet Officer Qualifying Course of NEMSU Cagwait Campus ROTC Unit and NEMSU San Miguel Campus ROTC Unit

LOOK | A total of 133 ROTC Cadet Officer Candidates from Lianga Campus, Tagbina Campus and Bislig Campus of North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) were declared graduates after surviving the rigid Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) held at NEMSU Lianga Campus, Poblacion, Lianga, Surigao del Sur which equipped them with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude as an ROTC Cadet Officers.

The Joint Closing Ceremony was held at NEMSU Lianga Campus Auditorium, Poblacion, Lianga, Surigao del Sur with LTC MARLON L BAGARA (INF) PA as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. The event was also graced by DR CATHY F SALOMON, Campus Director, NEMSU Lianga Campus; MR EDRICK REY SANTAMARIA, NSTP Coordinator; and MAJ JEROME G WACLIN, Director, 1504th (Surigao del Sur) Community Defense Center.
