Please be informed that the Out-Patient Department (OPD) of St. Paul Hospital – Tagoloan will be closed on May 27, 2026, Wednesday, in observance of Eid’l Adha, declared as a Regular Holiday under Proclamation No. 1264.

Regular OPD operations will resume on the next working day.

While OPD services will be temporarily unavailable on this holiday, the Emergency Room (ER) will remain open 24/7 to attend to urgent and emergency cases.

As we join our Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance of Eid’l Adha, we extend our warm greetings of peace, reflection, and unity. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.

NADYA SA BARYO 2026 — BARANGAY STA. CRUZ

May 26, 2026 — St. Paul Hospital ‒ Tagoloan once again joined the “Nadya sa Baryo” program, this time held in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The SPH team successfully performed 50 circumcision procedures (tuli) as part of the ongoing medical services provided through this LGU-led initiative.

SPH SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES DOH MALASAKIT CENTER AND MAIFIP PROGRAM ONLINE MONITORING

May 12, 2026 — St. Paul Hospital – Tagoloan, under the leadership of Dr. Ben Johnson B. Villanueva, Chief of Hospital I, successfully participated in the Department of Health (DOH) online monitoring and evaluation for the Malasakit Center and Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) Program.

Representing the hospital during the activity were SPH MAIFIP Focal Person Fritz Dawn Palapar, Planning Officer Glaiza L. Roa, and Cash Operations Head Louis Rey S. Llanera, together with DOH personnel and program coordinators. Through the collective efforts of the team and the hospital’s continued commitment to patient-centered public service, SPH earned an impressive 96.67% evaluation rating during the assessment.

SPH CELEBRATES WORLD HAND HYGIENE DAY 2026

May 5, 2026 — St. Paul Hospital – Tagoloan joins the global observance of World Hand Hygiene Day with the theme “Save Lives: Clean Your Hands,” reinforcing the vital role of proper hand hygiene in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety.

In support of this initiative, SPH conducted awareness activities including the distribution of informational flyers to patients and a radio guesting to further discuss the importance of proper handwashing and infection prevention within the community. These efforts aim to strengthen public awareness and encourage consistent hand hygiene practices both in healthcare settings and at home.

Through this celebration, St. Paul Hospital reaffirms its commitment to promoting infection prevention and control, safeguarding both patients and healthcare workers, and advancing quality healthcare for all.

SPH–BJMP TAGOLOAN OUTREACH VISIT APRIL

April 22, 2026 — St. Paul Hospital – Tagoloan successfully conducted its outreach visit to BJMP Tagoloan as part of the continuing partnership aimed at promoting accessible and responsive healthcare services for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

During the activity, PDLs were provided with a Nutrition and Wellness Lecture conducted by Ms. Katrina D. Faburada, RND, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, counseling sessions facilitated by Ms. Rowena V. Tabios, RN, Ward Supervisor Nurse, and routine medical check-up services by the SPH team.

This monthly engagement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to uphold health promotion, preventive care, and the overall well-being of individuals within the facility through sustained inter-agency collaboration.
