MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY WEEK CELEBRATION 🔬

September 19, 2025 — St. Paul Hospital ‒ Tagoloan proudly joined the nationwide observance of Medical Technology (MedTech) Week, carrying this year’s theme: “The Green Healthcare Revolution: Filipino Medical Technologists for a Sustainable Future.”

The program featured a welcome message from Dr. Juville Bautista-Mahinay, Chief of Clinics, followed by an insightful lecture from Guest Speaker Dr. Neal C. Rana, Pathologist, who shared case-based discussions and perspectives on pathology that enriched the knowledge and practice of the participants.

This celebration highlighted the indispensable role of medical technologists in patient care and their contribution to shaping a healthier, sustainable future.

NADYA SA BARYO

September 17, 2025 — St. Paul Hospital ‒ Tagoloan once again took part in the “Nadya sa Baryo” program, this time held in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The SPH team successfully performed 18 minor surgical procedures (circumcision/tuli) as part of the health services offered in this LGU-led initiative.

We thank the Local Government of Tagoloan for spearheading this continuing program, which brings essential health services closer to the people.

WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY OBSERVANCE 🧡

September 17, 2025 — St. Paul Hospital ‒ Tagoloan joined the global celebration of World Patient Safety Day led by the World Health Organization (WHO). Employees wore the symbolic color orange, and the hospital was lit in orange to reflect our commitment to safe care for every newborn and child.

The event also featured a Patient Safety Seminar, a baloon release, a photo booth, and the use of a staff profile frame on social media, showing unity in raising awareness. Special thanks to Ma’am Rowena V. Tabios, RN, for spearheading this meaningful initiative.

ADOPT-A-CHILD PROGRAM

September 12, 2025 — As part of the 125th Anniversary celebration of the Philippine Civil Service, St. Paul Hospital proudly participated in the Adopt-A-Child Program, one of the initiatives organized by the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan.

Through this activity, LGU offices adopted selected children with special needs, providing direct support and care between the sponsoring office and their beneficiary. St. Paul Hospital is honored to have adopted Jasper Laurence Saldariega of Zone 3, Sugbongcogon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

PDEA PHARMACY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION

September 11, 2025 — St. Paul Hospital ‒ SPH Tagoloan’s Pharmacy, led by Head Pharmacist Gypsy Dagandan, was inspected by representatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), including the Chief Compliance Officers and designated regulatory officers.

The inspection, part of PDEA’s regular compliance review of hospital pharmacies handling regulated substances, assessed our licensing, record-keeping, handling of dangerous drugs, and other regulatory requirements under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

We are pleased to report that the inspection was a success. St. Paul Hospital extends sincere gratitude to PDEA for their guidance and assurance. We remain committed to upholding high standards of safety, accountability, and service for our patients and community.
