The rate of people testing positive for COVID-19 in Metro Manila increased in the past week, a member of the independent OCTA Research group said on Thursday.

According to Guido David, the capital region recorded a positivity rate of 13.4% as of April 26, up from last week's 8.4%.

"This is expected to increase further, perhaps up to 20%"
