September is Su***de Prevention Month 🍃

At Serene Minds by MIVL, we believe that every life has value, purpose, and meaning, even in moments when the weight of life’s storms feels overwhelming.

This month, we honor those we’ve lost, uplift those who are struggling, and remind one another that you are not alone.

What you can do:
• Check in on a friend or loved one.
• Speak openly about mental health to break the stigma.
• Reach out for help when you need it. It is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Remember: Healing is possible, hope is real, and support is always within reach. 💌

Today, June 27th 2025 is National PTSD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness day. ✨
Play a role in a loved one’s healing and recovery 🫶

A person with PTSD has four main types of difficulties: Re-living the traumatic event through unwanted and recurring memories, flashbacks or vivid nightmares, avoidance and emotion dysregulation. There may be intense emotional or physical reactions when reminded of the event including sweating, heart palpitations, anxiety or panic.

By acknowledging the signs and symptoms, you can provide empathetic support to loved ones and help create a safe and non-judgmental space for them to open up.
