During Say No to To***co Day, the Grade 12 Department delivered a powerful reminder that some choices can’t be undone.
Through a moving presentation, they told the story of a young person overwhelmed by pain someone who didn’t want to die but simply didn’t know how to cope. When a so-called 'friend' offered a way out, it seemed like a solution. But what followed was a downward spiral: one hit, one high, one escape… and then, silence.
This wasn’t just a dramatic performance. It was a wake up call.
A message to every student: To***co and drugs don’t heal you they hide the hurt, and sometimes, they bury you with it.
The Grade 12 students challenged us to face the truth that too many lives are lost to substances that pretend to offer peace but only bring destruction. Their message was clear:
💬 Don’t let pain lead you into darkness.
💬 Talk to someone. Reach out. Choose to fight not with drugs, but with hope.
💬 Because real peace doesn’t come from a cigarette, a v**e, or a pill. It comes from healing, from help, and from the courage to keep going.
Thank you, Grade 12, for using your voice to make a difference. Your message is unmistakable and unforgettable: reject to***co. Say YES to life.
