YESTERDAY @ PIA–Region 7 📍
We were honored to speak at the FILIPINNOVATION Awards 2025 – Visayas Sub-National Press Briefing, hosted at the Philippine Information Agency–Region 7 office in Cebu City. 🚀

DepDev Region 7 Assistant Regional Director Evelyn Nacario-Castro introduced the 11 Visayan semi-finalists competing for spots in the sub-nationals. Three were invited to speak on behalf of the cohort, each representing one of the competition’s focus areas—Food & Agribusiness, Health & Well-Being, and Learning & Education:

We’re honored to share that SugboDoc has been shortlisted among the Top 11 semi-finalists in the Visayas cluster of the 2025 Filipinnovation Awards.

🌟 Celebrating Innovation at University of San Carlos Gladiator’s Ring – Season 5 🌟

This morning our CEO, Ryan Michael Gelig, had the privilege of sitting on the adjudication panel for the “Gladiator’s Ring” at the University of San Carlos (USC) Rigney Hall. Thank you to Dr. Angelo H. Cabije and the USC RITH–Carolinian BRIDGES Tech Hub for the warm invitation and for championing entrepreneurship in the academe.

SugboDoc was joined by a powerhouse roster of fellow judges and mentors from DOHE Philippines, Wadhwani Foundation, IPAK PH, Seed4com - Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities. Together, we listened to ten inspiring student-led startups determined to solve real-world problems and build a stronger Philippine innovation ecosystem.

🙏 Grateful to be invited by the School of Computer Studies - SCS to take part in SCS Days 2025 at the University of San Jose–Recoletos!
