NEWS | 𝗙𝗔𝗕𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗦 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗸𝘆𝘂𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝟰𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗠𝗠𝗔

The First Asia BA Communication and Multimedia Arts Society (FABCOMMS) now has a total of five entries among the finalists for the National Council for Children's Television’s (NCCT) DokyuBata 2025 and the 47th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), as announced via the NCCT and CMMA’s official pages.

Third-year BA Communication (BAC) students' entries for DokyuBata 2025 "Ang Batang Lumaki sa Septic Tank" and "Bahay Pag-asa, Bahay ng Pag-asa" were also nominated for the Audience Choice Award, with voting mechanics to be announced.

Meanwhile, the entries for the 47th CMMA, which second and third-year BAC students produced, are as follows: “Atleta” for Best Student Public Service Radio Ad; “Sentimo” for Best Student Public Service TV Ad; and “Badjao - Juan” for Best TV Production under the Student Category.

The announcement of winners, as well as the awarding ceremony for DokyuBata 2025, will be held on November 28. Although no date has been announced yet, the CMMA awards ceremony is also expected to occur in November.

This year’s recognition demonstrates FABCOMMS' strong presence in national media competitions and its continued commitment to excellence, following its ‘Hall of Famer’ status at the CMMA last year for media production.
