๐Ÿ‘ฅ 50 Participants

We are proud to share the successful conclusion of the Comprehensive Wound Care Symposium held last July 3โ€“4, 2025, at the 4th Floor Training Facility of Tarlac Medical Center. This 2-day intensive workshop was spearheaded by the Tarlac Medical Center โ€“ Wound, Ostomy, and Diabetic Limb Care Center, in collaboration with the Wound Care Nurses Society of the Philippines (WCNSP).

With over 50 engaged participants, the symposium focused on empowering nurses with evidence-based strategies in comprehensive wound and stoma care management. The program emphasized practical knowledge, critical decision-making, and current innovations in wound dressing and ostomy care.

This event was spearheaded through the leadership of Mr. Angelo Lopez Pamintuan, Board of Director for Training and Education โ€“ WCNSP and Nurse Supervisors of TMC Wound Ostomy and Diabetic Limb Care Center, who led the organization and educational framework of the program, with the support of our Respective Executives Dr. Benedicto Benin (CEO/President), Dr. Carmelo De Jesus Cabornida (C.O.O), Dr. Joanna V. Remo (Medical Director), Dr. Arnold Castro (Head of Wound Care Department), Maโ€™am Corrine Limlingan (Chief Nurse) and Mr. Christopher Landingin (Assistant Chief Nurse - OR,Cathlab,WOCC complex)

We were honored to welcome two highly esteemed wound care experts as our guest trainers:

๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ Nurse Rene Zed Cantuba, also known as โ€œMr. Woundโ€, and the current President of the Wound Care Nurses Society of the Philippines, brought his passion and national-level expertise in wound care advocacy and clinical excellence.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ Nurse Rachill Duran, known for her commitment to advancing nursing education in wound and ostomy management, delivered focused sessions and hands-on guidance to our participants.

Through lectures, case presentations, and interactive demonstrations, participants gained deeper understanding of:

Wound assessment and classification

Dressing selection and advanced wound products

Stoma care principles

Debridement techniques and the role of multidisciplinary care

This symposium marks another step forward in our shared goal: to elevate the quality and accessibility of specialized wound and stoma care for all.

To all the nurses who joined usโ€”thank you for your commitment to excellence. Together, we heal better. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฉน

Thank you also to our ff sponsors!

We see your long hours, your quiet sacrifices, and the strength you bring to every patient encounter. Despite the challenges, you show up with compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication. You are more than healthcare workersโ€”you are lifelines, healers, and hope.

๐Ÿฉน โ€œSugat na โ€˜Di Gumagalingโ‰ Huwag Nang Maghintayโ€”Magpakonsulta Na!โ€

โš ๏ธ
โš ๏ธ
โš ๏ธ
