We capped the 25th Araw ng Sibugay with a GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS.
DGTHMC personnel participated in this historic activity, the world record for longest line of Talaba Shells. A total of 24,222 oysters were used to complete the record, officially held at the Ipil Rotunda to bring the said activity closer to the people.

DGTHMC, in collaboration with the OPD, Medical Social Services, and STII social work interns, actively participated in the 30th National Awareness Week for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Sexual Exploitation. United in purpose, we are committed to raising awareness, educating communities, and advocating for the protection of children’s rights.
This collective initiative highlights our dedication to fostering safer environments where every child can grow and thrive free from abuse and exploitation. Through education and proactive engagement, DGTHMC empowers individuals and communities to take a strong stand against all forms of child maltreatment.

Your commitment to health both for yourselves and the community is inspiring. Balancing the demand of health care with the discipline of training is a remarkable achievement fueled by endurance and dedication.

We are proud of the achievement of Mr Clark Baltazar of the Hospital Information Management Section who finished 3rd place in the recent IBP Run for Justice.

Congratulations to all DGTHMC personnel who participated, headed by Dr. Honey Gimony. Crossing the finish line is a testament of grit you show everyday in the hospital.

Congratulations also to our Provincial Adminstrator Atty. Jay Millena and the Capitol Running Club.

In spite of the challenges and struggles we have faced, Dr. George Tocao Hofer Medical Center remains steadfast in its mission to provide excellent and compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors. As we celebrate our 3rd founding anniversary, we continue to move forward Together in Faith, Together in Healing, under the loving care of Our Lady of Lourdes.

To all the dedicated and hardworking DGTHMC Section Heads and staff-let us continue to be challenged, inspired, and encouraged as we move forward to achieve our mission and vision.

Thank you to our patients, clients, and partners in health who stand with us—your trust fuels our resolve to serve with empathy, integrity, and excellence, even in difficult times.
Most importantly, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to our Governor Ann K. Hofer and Vice Governor Richard Olegario and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, to our Provincial Administrator Atty. Christian Jay Millena, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Anna Liza Gonzales and all the PLGU Department Heads for the never-ending support.

📢 DGTHMC COMMEMORATES WORLD CANCER DAY 2026!

Yesterday (February 4), we held a special lecture at our OPD Waiting Area to mark World Cancer Day, centered on this year’s powerful theme: "UNITED BY UNIQUE".

The session emphasized that while every person’s experience with cancer is one-of-a-kind, our collective strength in supporting patients, survivors, and their families creates an unbreakable bond. We’re grateful to everyone who took time to join us, share their stories, and help spread vital awareness about prevention, early detection, and care.
