Through Presidential Proclamation No. 157, issued on February 18, 2002, February was officially declared National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and honor the unique abilities, voices, and contributions of persons with Down Syndrome.

This month reminds us that understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance builds a more inclusive society for all.

✔️ Ang pagpanganak kinahanglan atimanon sa lisensyadong doktor, nars, o midwife
❌ DILI TUGOT ang home delivery nga gi-atiman sa hilot o walay lisensya, kung naa’y duol ug accessible nga DOH-licensed birthing facility
✔️ Kinahanglan manganak sa DOH-licensed hospital o lying-in

Para sa mga Hilot / Wala’y Lisensya nga Tig-atiman:
• Una nga paglapas: ₱2,000 nga multa + mandatory training isip Maternal Referral and Support Aides
• Ikaduhang paglapas: ₱3,500 nga multa + community service + suspensyon sa roster
• Ikatulong paglapas: ₱5,000 nga multa + permanenteng diskwalipikasyon

✅Pwede, basta qualified lang. Ang benepisyo nga makuha ani nga mga ID parehas lang apan DILI pwede gamiton ang matag 20% discount kada ID sa usa ka transakyon, ISA ra gyud.

♿️Senior citizen nga naay disability o wala, kinahanglan gihapon muapply para mahimong myembro sa Philhealth kung wala pa kini sukad nahimong myembro o nabag-o ang category.
