It’s a wrap! 👏🏻📝

The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit 2026 spearheaded by the DILG has officially concluded. The audit proper was conducted from April 27 to May 08, 2026, with the participation of various sectors and partner agencies including the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, Social Welfare and Development, Department of Education, and other stakeholders.

The audit aims to evaluate the local government unit’s indicators, policies, and practices in continuously improving the health and well-being of children and adolescents aged 10–19 years old. Key health indicators assessed include Fully-Immunized Child (FIC) coverage, teenage pregnancy cases, antenatal check-ups, live births and postpartum check-ups, nutritional assessments, as well as existing policies, accreditations, and certifications.
