Blood Chemistry Package

Blood Chemistry test can be done to learn information about your general health.
We offer Blood Chemistry packages to check how certain organs are working such as kidneys and liver and to also determine diabetes, hypertension and inflammatory arthritis or gout.

1.Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) – This measure your blood sugar after an overnight fasting.
2.Creatinine – This measure how well your kidneys are performing their job of filtering waste from your blood.
3.Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) - A BUN, or blood urea nitrogen test, can provide important information about your kidney function. The main job of your kidneys is to remove waste and extra fluid from your body. If you have kidney disease, this waste material can build up in your blood.
4.Triglycerides – This measure the amount of fat in your blood called triglycerides. High triglycerides level can increase your risk of heart attack, stroke and pancreatitis.
5.Total Cholesterol - A cholesterol test can help determine your risk of the buildup of fatty deposits (plaques) in your arteries that can lead to narrowed or blocked arteries throughout your body (atherosclerosis).
6.HDL - This is called the "good" cholesterol because it helps carry away LDL cholesterol, thus keeping arteries open and your blood flowing more freely.
7.LDL - This is called the "bad" cholesterol. Too much of it in your blood causes the buildup of fatty deposits (plaques) in your arteries (atherosclerosis), which reduces blood flow. These plaques sometimes rupture and can lead to a heart attack or stroke.
8.Blood Uric Acid - the uric acid blood test is used to detect high levels of this compound in the blood to help diagnose gout.
9.AST/SGOT - An AST blood test is used to diagnose liver disorders. AST is a liver
enzyme that's released in the blood when the liver is damaged.
10.ALT/SGPT - An alanine transaminase (ALT) blood test measures the amount of ALT in your blood. ALT levels in your blood can increase when your liver is damaged, so healthcare providers often use an ALT blood test to help assess the health of your liver.
