The “switch-on” moment. 👂✨
Today, our young patient experienced sound for the first time after his cochlear implant activation.
Look closely — while playing with his egg toys, he suddenly paused and stopped opening them… just to listen.
Moments like this tell us the brain is beginning to recognize new sounds.
We also started observing sound awareness and early localization — like responding to the rattle.
This is only the first step of the journey.
Over the next few months, he will undergo:
• Multiple CI mappings to fine-tune the device
• Speech and auditory therapy
• Continuous monitoring of his hearing progress
But moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
Deafness is treatable — especially when intervention is done early.
Every sound heard today is the beginning of a lifetime of communication.
🙏 Thank you for trusting us with your child’s hearing journey.
