Some comfort foods might seem harmless, but without balance, they could do more harm than good, especially when it comes to your stomach.

Diets high in processed, salty, or preserved foods and low in fresh produce have been linked to an increased risk of gastric cancer. It’s not about cutting out on your favourites. It’s about being mindful, and making space for fresh, protective choices.

🥗 After all, a little more colour on your plate could go a long way for your health.

Women aged 60 and above, those with persistent high-risk HPV infections, a history of cervical cancer or precancerous changes, and exposure to DES before birth are more likely to develop it.

Even if you feel healthy, regular checkups are essential, especially if you belong to any of these higher-risk groups. Being informed and proactive can make a big difference.
