Hi dear client/s, good day! A safety reminder, that a new Omicron sub-variant known as the XBB has been driving a significant surge in Covid-19 cases in Singapore. The Omicron XBB sub-variant was first detected in August 2022 in India and has since been detected in more than 17 countries.

Observations from countries where XBB has been reported suggest that it is more highly transmissible and may be driving an increase in re-infection and breakthrough infection.

With the XBB sub-variant now having entered the Philippines due to eased border restrictions for travelers, everyone are reminded to continue being vigilant, strictly follow the minimum health public standards such as wearing of face masks at all times, and stay at home when you experience any Covid-like symptoms.
