The Manuka Honey has been sourced from ORA Honey, a North Island, New Zealand Honey processor specialising in Manuka and other native honeys. The balance of the products are manufactured by NZ Nutritionals (1994) Ltd, a well-established manufacturing company based in Christchurch, New Zealand specialising in the manufacture of many food supplements and general health products primarily for export around the World. NZ Nutritionals has a very modern factory and meets all New Zealand strict health requirements.

Initially a number of products were imported to gauge the Philippine market. For example Manuka Honey with its anti-bacterial properties and been very well received around the World however proved somewhat difficult to establish in Davao City. There proved to be a relatively small market for other products however Luteinplus, Omegaplus and Primrose Plus ( the Corporation genic names) have been widely well received and marketing is now concentrated on these three products. Luteinplus is a synergistic formulation containing vitamins, minerals, herbs and nutrients that are essential for supporting healthy eyes. It also contains important antioxidants that protect against free radical damage in the macular region, retina and lens of the eye. It has a large number of ingredients including Lutein, bilberry, NZ grape seed, Ginkgo Biloba, Taurine and Vitamins A, C and E. There are no other Vision products on the market with this number if ingredients. Luteinplus is blister packed in boxes of 100. Omegaplus Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids derived from wild deep sea fish. They are rich in EPA (185mg) and DHA (125mg) which are essential for the development and function of the eyes, nerves brain and beneficial for cardiovascular health. Also contains orange oil limonene. Most Omege 3s on the market have lower EPA and DHA and never declared. Omegaplus plus is blister packed in boxes of 100. Primrose Plus is a combination of Evening Primrose Oil and Rosehip special for woman with a wide variety of benefits including assisting with Hormonal Balances, Dry Skin especially the face, premenstrual systems and support of cardiovascular health. Primrose Plus very popular with birthing homes to assist with child birth. Primrose Plus is blister packed in boxes of 50.
-Marketing-
Initial marketing was limited due to long delays in obtaining all CPR’s from FDA. These were finally obtained in March 2015. Since then our products have been introduced into the three main cities, Davao, Cagayan De Oro and Gen San together with the areas in between We are currently advertising through the above areas via RMN, Wild FM and Easy Rock stations. A thirty minute radio programme discussing the product range may also be introduced shortly. We have commenced direct promotion to the medical profession. The website kaiorahealth.com.ph is now under new management and will be used to promote via Facebook and similar channels.
