She refused to run when fire came. Protecting her eggs. 👇This picture has got me thinking. Sure she's a Mother! she had a chance to run but she couldn't leave the eggs. Many times women have the choice to quit risky situations including brutal marriages that cost their lives, but their pain is either their unborn or born but now grown-up children. You got no idea what a mother goes through to present you to the world and protect you from its anger! to all the mothers who endure for their children out there... I adore you 💕

Special Prayer for the Fourth Day

O Lord God and Father, I came to adore and praise You with the help of my patron, St Raymond, who in his lifetime served You with all his heart. You also favoured him with strength of soul so that he might weather all the sufferings that lay in his path as he fought for the cause of Christian captives.

U ask You in all humility and helpnessness to extend to me perseverance in my struggles of soul and body and to live the ideals of St. Raymond in the matter of bearing the trials of life for the sake of neighbours.

Dear God, grant that through his intercession I may fulfil the duties of my state in life so that when the hour of death comes, I may be worthy to be welcomed into heaven and live there forever in the company of St Raymond and the other saints and angels. Amen

Special Prayer for the 3rd Day

O Queen of heaven and earth, Mary most fair and loving mother, I prostrate myself myself before your feet to thank you for all the gracesof body and soul which I have received from Jesus your Son through your powerful intercession. You generously deigned to extend protection and care to my patron, St Raymond, who served your cause of love of neighbour in the Order of Mercederians.

Through the merits of St Raymond, I humbly ask you to pray for me also so that I may be worthy to practice the virtues of the saint and to share with him the supernatural reward in heaven. You have shown yourself to be a most loving mother to him, and the same grace I wish to obtain during this novena. Grant that I may deserve to obtain this grace through the intercession of St Raymond. Amen

O most sweet Jesus, my Lord and Redeemer who loved me till the ignonimous death on Calgary; You showered special favor on Saint Raymond from the moment of His conception and birth and inscribed in His heart Your most holy name.

You made my patron suffer for the sake of his fellow Christians who were kept in bo***ge by infidels and blessed him with your own Body in Holy Communion at the time of his death. I thank You for all these favors and I humbly ask You to give me the same opportunities of meriting the eternal kingdom which You promised to those who would love and serve You.

I also beg You, dear Lord, to make me worthy of the merits of my patron Saint so that I may live with him in your heavenly home, where I will sing your praises forever. Amen.

First Day
O Almighty God and our Lord and Creator, I adore You in all humility and give praise to the mystery of the Holy Trinity, one God in three Divine Persons. I thank you for all the graces You have bestowed on me, especially the grace to know and serve You despite the frailties of my human nature.
You have adorned the life of my patron saint, Saint Raymond with the virtues of love for neighbor, patience, courage and heavenly wisdom. Grant that by the merits of his holy life, I may walk in his footsteps in the path of sanctification. I humbly ask You to give me the special favor I seek during this novena, if it be Your greater glory, for the exaltation of the name of my protector, Saint Raymond, and for the salvation of souls. AMEN.
