The Philippine College of Physicians Western Mindanao Chapter, in collaboration with West Metro Medical Center's Internal Medicine Department and Management, successfully conducted a Dengue lecture and clean-up drive today, January 22, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Sta. Maria river, fronting the Zamboanga City Medical Society Office / building. This event was organized in coordination with Barangay Sta. Maria.

The event started with an informative lecture on dengue prevention, symptoms, and treatment and was followed by an active community clean-up drive, where participants worked together to clean and clear potential mosquito breeding grounds along the riverfront.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and participants who dedicated their time and effort to this important cause. Together, we made significant strides towards combating dengue and fostering a healthier community.
