Brief History
Sometime in December 2001 a group of young people gathered under a star apple tree and decided to organize a youth movement group and dabbed it as Gapuh Youth Organization headed by Ma. They were Elmer Casabuena, Eugene Casabuena, Julie Barretto, Abigail Mendoza and others. Since then, this organization was recognized by the Barangay for its endeavor in bringing all youth together with common goal. Formal election and induction of officers took place early 2002. Perla Jalao as its pioneer member took the presidency and the rest assumed as officers. The same year, Mini Fonda De Gapuh was founded. These were a series of activities started from February 21-27 to commemorate its annual feast. In 2003 onwards, the organization expands its scope and started to engage in social services such as Community Service (clean up drive, beautification project, trainings, seminars, sports fest, medical and dental mission, annual love drive and others). The organization was handled by different sets of officers and stand stood until the present. In 2011, the organization was renamed as Gapuh Youth Organization for Peace and Development for appropriation purposes. Also, in the same year it commemorated a decade as an established and active organization in the community.

Working together for the coming events...1 run,1 goal a benefit solidarity fun run,medical and dental mision,oplan bloodletting,1 tree at a time:tree planting actvty,livelihood skils training,cosechas d gapuh:agritrade expo.all of these and a lot more ds coming february n onwards....
