Our aim is to help Barangay Coloran and its people to become self reliant through a range of initiatives. Vision: The MovingColorz of ADZU-SOM envisions a healthy and organized community that is able to respond to situations readily and adapt to the ever-changing pattern of health problems. Mission: The MovingColorz of ADZU-SOM exists to guide the community to come up with solutions to existing health problems and to help improve the quality of life in Barangay Coloran. Objectives:
To establish rapport with the people in the community and immerse ourselves in their day to day activities. To facilitate the residents in identifying problems in their barangay and the possible solutions for them. To coordinate with the people in implementing programs and plans for community development. To ensure self-sufficiency of the barangay after disengagement from the community. To be of service to the health needs of the community – a) maternal and child health, b) family planning, c) consultation, d) first aid, e) lifestyle counselling, f) conservation of environment. 1920's- 1950's- The barangay was first a jungle of "Kolod" Trees. Inhabitants of the barangay were Subanens who used to hunt wild pigs and animals in the area. When asked where they had been, they would always answer "KOLODAN". Christian settlers in the place would always mispronounce it as "COLORAN", thus the name Coloran was carried until the present.
1966- The creation of the Barangay Coloran thru RA 3590 and the Elementary School was established. The first Barangay Captain elected was Hon. Jose Cortez, Sr.
1969 The barangay Hall and Barangay Health Center was established and Hon. Laih Hula was elected as Barangay Captain
1972 Hon. Mamerto Magbanua was elected as Barangay Captain. The Barangay Road, water system, construction of school building, and institutionalizing of the Araw ng Coloran were established.
1986 Hon. Alipio Panares was appointed as Barangay Captain. Catholic Church Chapel was founded. The Distribution of lots to the community.
1988 Hon. Mamerto Mabganua was elected again as Barangay Captain. Additional School buildings were put up. Construction of the barangay basketball court. Watershed, Road Concreting, streetlights were also etablished.
1992 Hon. Florentino Galve was elected as Barangay Captain. Water System, the office of the Barangay Hall, additional School building, CRS Solar Drier, public market, animal dispersal, the freedom stage, the re construction of the new Health Center and the Day Care Center were established.
2007 until present Hon. Nelson Bienes was elected was elected as barangay Captain. Rehabilitation of the Health Center and the Barangay Hall. The establishing of the Barangay Badminton Court. TOTAL POPULATION:1,587

LOCATION: The Barangay is along the National Highway located 3 kilometers away from the Poblacion of Siay. Bounded by Barangay Balucanan from the west, Barangays Labasan and Kimos in the north, Barangay Paruk in the east and Barangay Mirangan in the south.
