WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION 🦷✨

Patient came to the clinic with a complaint of pain on his lower left second molar. Upon oral examination, there is no visible caries on the second molar and we noticed that there is an impacted third molar. We suspected that the third molar was causing the pain and we requested a panoramic x-ray for further evaluation. We found out that the impacted third molar (wisdom tooth) causes damage on the distal side of the adjacent second molar which was not visible upon oral examination thus causing the pain. The patient opted to extract both the second and third molar.
