ہمیں یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے خوشی ہو رہی ہے کہ ہزارہ ڈویژن کا جنرل باڈی اجلاس منعقد کیا جا رہا ہے، جس کا مقصد صحت کے نظام سے متعلق اہم امور پر تبادلہ خیال کرنا ہے۔ اس اجلاس کا خاص فوکس چار سالوں سے ٹرینگ میڈیکل آفسیر کے وظائف سے cat B کی کٹوتی، مریضوں کی نگہداشت کو بہتر بنانا اور صحت کے شعبے سے وابستہ ماہرین کو درپیش چیلنجز کا حل۔

اس اجلاس میں مندرجہ ذیل تمام طبقات کی بھرپور شرکت کا خیر مقدم کیا جاتا ہے:

Since the past 4 years, Pakistani rupee has devalued 75.19% against US dollar. Similarly, a massive increase in the cost of basic necessities including electricity, gas, food was found due to the continuous ongoing inflation.
Unfortunately, the stipend of all House Officers across KPK remained unchanged for the past 4 years. This led to a greater economic burden on the talented young doctors leading most of them to leave their motherland for foreign countries.
Our request is to the concerned authorities of KP government to raise the stipend of all House Officers of KPK to a greater than 50% inshaAllah.
This raise would motivate all the brilliant young doctors of KPK and would play very significant role in the provision of highest possible of level of healthcare to the people of KP, Pakistan and entire mankind in the years to come. InshaAllah!
There also needs to be a standardized policy of raising the stipend of all House Officers and Training Medical Officers on fixed yearly basis just like all the professions in KPK and Pakistan, so that in future never ever a need for any applications, press conferences, protests unfortunately arise to raise the stipend.

Press Release: Young Doctors Association (YDA) Abbottabad

A meeting of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Abbottabad was held under the leadership of Dr. Ismail Alam Khan, with cabinet members and house officers in attendance.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Quran. Dr. Ismail Alam Khan, the association's president, welcomed all newly joined house officers. The agenda included discussions on multiple key topics.

Dr. Arshad Khan, Dr. Saqib Wazir, Dr. Hubab Ali, Dr. Naveed Wazir, Dr. Babar Khan, Dr. Muzammil Shah, and Dr. Razaullah Yousafzai were entrusted with the responsibility of forming the new cabinet for house officers. Additionally, the proposal to organize a welcome party for new house officers and training medical officers was brought forward.

Upcoming elections were a major discussion point. Participants committed to fully supporting YDA’s nominated candidates, with plans for a strong campaign. They acknowledged the contributions of young doctors and emphasized that the association enjoys widespread support within the medical community. Post-election, YDA aims to continue its tradition of serving the medical community with dedication.

Participants expressed gratitude that the health department has lifted the hiring freeze, allowing new recruitments and progress on other hospital matters. It was decided to meet with the hospital director, Dr. Dawood, to expedite renovation projects for the library and hostel facilities.

The association also addressed issues related to patient care and committed to working towards resolving them. A meeting with Professor Dr. Abid Jameel, the Chairman of the Board of Governors, was planned to discuss these patient welfare measures.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants reiterated their commitment to the mission of YDA: safeguarding doctors' rights and advancing patient welfare.

ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ماجد کے خلاف ڈین ایوب میڈیکل کالج پروفیسر ثاقب ملک صاحب کی انتقامی کاروائی اور شوکاز نوٹس کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہے۔
ڈاکٹر ماجد کو صرف اس بات پر ملازمت سے برطرفی کا نوٹس دینا کہ انہوں نے وائ ڈی اے کی پوسٹ کو شئیر کیا ایک سنگین بے قاعدگی،قوانین سے انحراف ذاتی غصہ اتارنے اور اختیارات کے ناجائز استعمال کے مترادف ہے۔
ڈین صاحب یہ بات بھول گئے کہ یہ پوسٹ ڈاکٹر ماجد نے نہیں ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن نے کی جس میں ایک ڈی ایس پی کی اسلحہ برداروں سمیت ہسپتال میں آنے اور ڈین صاحب کو دباؤ میں لانے کی کوشش کی گئ تھی۔
بجائے اس کے کہ ڈین صاحب اس یکجہتی پر شکر گزار ہوتے انہوں نے نجانے کس دباؤ پر اپنا غصہ اتارنے کیلئےبراہ راست ڈاکٹر ماجد کو نوکری سے برطرف کرنے کا نوٹس دے ڈالا اور اس سے ایک دن پہلے اسی بات کی دھمکی دی۔
نوٹس دینے سے ایک روز قبل ڈاکٹر ماجد ڈین صاحب سے ملنے گئے اور انکو نہایت شائستگی سے غلط فہمی دور کرنے کیلئے اپنا موقف دینے کی کوشش کی جس پر ڈین صاحب نے آفس ڈیکورم اور اخلاق کے تمام ضابطے توڑتے ہوئے سیدھا سیدھا بات سننے سے انکار کیا اور انکو چلے جانے کا کہا جو کہ سراسر قوانین اور انصاف کے تقاضوں سے انحراف ہے اور جسکے تمام ثبوت موجود ہیں۔
ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن چیئرمین بورڈ ڈاکٹر عابد جمیل صاحب سے مطالبہ کرتی ہے کہ اس طرح کے واقعات جو اب تسلسل سے ہو رہے اور جس میں ڈین صاحب کے رویئے پر شکایات سامنے آ رہی ہیں فوری ایکشن لیں اور اس انتقامی کاروائی کو روکیں۔
یہ افسوس کی بات ہے کہ اس وقت ملک میں جہاں ایک طرف حکمران جماعت اظہار رائے کی آزادی انصاف اور مخالفین کے خلاف انتقامی سیاست پر شکوے کرتی نظر آتی ہے وہیں انکی اپنی حکومت میں ایک اہم عہدے دار صرف اس بنیاد پر اپنے ملازمین کو ذاتی غصے اور انتقام کا نشانہ بناتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے ینگ ڈاکٹرز کی سپورٹ میں کی گئ پوسٹ کو اپنی وال سے شئیر کیوں کیا جبکہ ڈاکٹر ماجد نے کسی بھی جگہ نہ ڈین صاحب کی کوئ توہین کی نہ اس پر خود سے کوئ پوسٹ کی۔
ہم وزیر صحت،وزیر اعلی اور چیف جسٹس پشاور ہائ کورٹ سے بھی درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ اسکا فوری نوٹس لیں۔
کیا ڈاکٹروں کی نمائندہ تنظیم جو اپنے ڈاکٹرز کے حقوق کیلئے کوئ پوسٹ کرے صرف اس لئے ناپسندیدگی کا سبب بنے گی کہ ڈین صاحب کو انکوائری کا مطالبہ پسند نہیں آیا۔ کیا اتنی ذمہ دار پوسٹ پر بیٹھے شخص کو تحمل کا مظاہرہ نہیں کرنا چاہئے کہ جب آپ کا کوئ ماتحت آپ سے اسی معاملے پر بات کرنا چاہے اور آپ بات سننے سے ہی انکار کر دیں
ہم نہیں چاہتے کہ ہمیں اس معاملے میں آخری حد تک جانا پڑے جس سے صوبے کی عوام کی مشکلات میں اضافہ ہو لیکن اگر اسی طرح سے ہماری فیکلٹی کو نشانہ بنایا جاتا رہا تو احتجاج پر مجبور ہوں گے
