Instead of saying ( Inko ghr lyjain or khidmat krein, iska ab ilaj ni ) to Stroke and paralytic patients etc
kindly refer them to a good Physical Therapist, He / She can change the patients life.
Every soul deserves a pain free, quality life.

Alarming situation for Physio Community..
You should stand against such activities only if you agree with my points 👉....

This is prescription pad/ cover of respected Nuero doctor ... (not taking name, or sharing full cover to avoid conflict)...

This pad has some instructors probably for awareness of public thats plus point and positive sign but it's against our domain and purely unethical...

Point 1: Physiotherapy (thank u for referring but evey nuero patient doesn't require physio until some symptoms)

Point 2: Walk and Exercise ( for general info walk is good but exercises ?? Again they are part of Physiotherapy and should be written as title Rehabilitation...

Point 3: Massage Therapy ?? (In mostly LMN nuero conditions,. Massage Is not indicated bec of low tone...while in UMN even Massage is not good sign only if there is general stiffness not related to any neural pathology..

Point 4: Avoid actives which are increasing pain.. ( Our domain again.. for sake of knowledge its good to share as instructions its not good sign..)

I have seen such flyers a lot, by other consultants too.. I respect them a lot 💯 but it's not good for our field... its totally against domain... and specially our field.. I will share every such flyer with explanation, I mostly see such flyer during my opd at different cities, people coming from didffent cities, different consultants..

Your knowledge about your field is highly appreciated 🙏 but such acts against any other field is not tolerated...

Almost all senior doctors and surgeons want physiotherapy services for themselves and their families for a quality life but when it comes to the general population where physiotherapy is much needed and required they didn't advised them to go for a good physiotherapist. WHY?
