3 days free Medical Camp organized by women health care centre on 30,31 Dec to 1st January. In Medical Camp, social welfare society volunteered, which was appreciated by Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr Muhammad Kamran. In the ceremony, VC presented an appreciation certificate to President IUB SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY Ayesham Farooqi and Joint Secretary I Nabeeha Ijaz for their participation in the welfare of people during 3 day free Medical Camp.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur's Three-Day Free Mega Medical Camp has concluded, showcasing collaborative efforts in community healthcare.

The IUB Social Welfare Society (SWS), IUB Anti-Narcotics & HealthCare Society, and Women Health Care Center & Maternity Home worked together to provide medical services to hundreds of patients.

The camp's success is attributed to the dedication of Dr. Sheikh Safeena Siddiqe, Hamid Rasool, Ayesham Farooqi and volunteers from IUB Social welfare society, IUB Scouts, Girls Guide Society, and IEEE EBMS UCET IUB. Their efforts demonstrate a commitment to accessible healthcare and community service.

The IUB Social Welfare Society (SWS) and IUB Anti-Narcotic Society members joined forces with healthcare professionals at the Three-Day Free Mega Medical Camp, Day 2, at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, IUB.

IUB SWS President welcomed esteemed guests alongside other members. The camp, organized by Women Health Care Center & Maternity Home and IUB Anti-Narcotics & HealthCare Society, provided free medical consultations, screenings, and expert advice to nearly 300 patients.

Led by Dr. Sheikh Safeena Siddiqe, the camp reflected a commitment to patient-centered care, dignity, and empathy.

IUB SWS team members joined the camp, contributing to its success. Patients expressed gratitude, reaffirming the impact of accessible healthcare.

The IUB Social Welfare Society’s members took part in the Three-Day Free Mega Medical Camp at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, demonstrating its commitment to community service.

The inaugural day of the camp had tremendous response, with hundreds of patients receiving comprehensive medical check-ups, screenings, and specialized guidance at no cost. This commendable initiative was driven by Dr. Sheikh Safeena Siddiqe, Director WHCC&MH, in collaboration with the IUB Anti-Narcotics & HealthCare Society and Women Health Care Center & Maternity Home.

The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor IUB, alongside Prof. Dr. Mazhar Ayyaz, Vice Chancellor Cholistan University of Veterinary & Health Sciences, Bahawalpur. Renowned doctors and faculty members devoted their time and expertise to serve the community. Nearly 300 patients received free medical consultations, screenings, and professional advice across multiple specialties.

Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we acknowledge a truth many live with every day - some women still wake up afraid in their own homes, still hide their stories behind forced smiles, and still wait for a world that listens. This day exists because their reality cannot be ignored.

Violence leaves marks that don't always show. It impacts confidence, relationships, mental peace, and the ability to dream freely. Real change begins when we stop treating these experiences as "someone else's problem" and start recognising them as a collective responsibility. Every small act of support, every conversation, every moment of empathy matters.

The Social Welfare Society works to empower women through awareness, education, and advocacy - ensuring their voices are heard, their rights respected, and their safety prioritized.
