Empowering youth for a greener future! 🌎💚

The Youth 4 Climate Initiative was a held on 24 October’2025 in collaboration with IUB Social Welfare Society and Youth Empowerment Club at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur!

A big thank you to our keynote speaker Dr. Qaiser Shakeel, Associate Professor (Faculty of Agriculture and Environment), for inspiring students to take meaningful action for climate protection! The event was very impactful.

Bahawalpur, October 9th, *The IUB Social Welfare Society* (SWS), in powerful collaboration with the *IUB Performing Arts Society* (PAS), successfully hosted the much-anticipated musical charity show, "Beats of Hope," in the Main Auditorium. The event was a massive triumph, drawing an enthusiastic crowd and successfully raising funds for the IUB Flood Relief Camp.
The "Beats of Hope" concert featured a diverse and captivating lineup, including soulful singing, dramatic theater performances, mesmerizing Sufi music and powerful Qawali. The collaboration effectively merged artistic excellence with philanthropic endeavor.
The Society was deeply honoured by the presence of the Worthy Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, whose attendance served as a great source of inspiration and appreciation for the students' noble initiative.
The atmosphere was vibrant as a large number of students and guests turned out, not only to be entertained but also to actively participate in this virtuous cause. The massive turnout is a testament to the community's commitment to social welfare.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to every student, guest, and participant who contributed to making this event a success. Your support helped spread hope, one beat and one ticket at a time, ensuring that vital aid reaches the flood-affected families.

*A Collaborative Success!*
We're thrilled to announce the successful organization of a *ticket booth* in front of the Main Auditorium for the highly anticipated “ *Beats of Hope” Charity Show on 9th October!*
This major effort was a proud collaboration between the *IUB Social Welfare Society* and the *IUB Performing Arts Society*. We worked together with the shared goal of raising crucial funds for flood relief efforts.
The booth was set up under the joint leadership of *Ayesham Farooq, President of the IUB Social Welfare Society*, and *Laila Kaynaat, President of the IUB Performing Arts Society*. The air around the stall was vibrant with enthusiasm and positive energy as students, faculty and guests queued up, eager to secure their tickets and contribute to this noble cause.
We were especially honored and encouraged by the visit of our respected Vice Chancellor, who not only appreciated our joint efforts but also showed great interest in the positive impact of this initiative.
