أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم قَالَ: «إِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَلْيَجْلِسْ فَإِنْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْغَضَبُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ» رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ

حضرت ابوذر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب تم میں سے کسی کو غصہ آئے اور وہ کھڑا ہو تو بیٹھ جائے ، اگر غصہ ختم ہو جائے تو ٹھیک ورنہ لیٹ جائے ۔‘‘ ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی ۔
