Another day of life well spent 😊
Free Medical Camp for the Psychiatric Patients and the Patients in need of Physical Rehabilitation at Rukhsana Shafqat Medical Centre ( Waqaf ) . I Started travelling at 5:30 am from Multan. Multan and the South Punjab is currently in the grip of dense fog so was the Multan. Route from the Multan to Bhakkar was engulfed in dense fog reducing the visibility from zero to a few meters. Reached Bhakkar at 9 am . Had breakfast. Shahid bhai and his family was as usual courteous and we had a hearty breakfast. Medical Camp started at 9: 30 am. 52 patients made out to Rukhsana Shafqat Centre Bhakkar City . Patients had already been screened by the specially sensitized and trained family physician Dr. Haseeb. 12 patients were the new patients and 40 reported for the follow-up and review. 18 patients were from the urban and 34 were from the rural background . 33 were male and 19 were female patients . The patients who needed psychiatric assistance were provided assessment, diagnosis, treatment, free medicines for a month and counselling services through the help of clinical psychologist colleagues. Patients requiring EEG were provided free assistance. 42 patients were seen by Brig. Amir Waheed Butt (Retd) Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine . 40 were the new and 05 reported for the follow up . 23 patients were female and 22 were male patients. 22 were from the urban and 23 were from the rural background.
Patients who required assistance in Physical Rehabilitation, Pain Management and other maladies were seen.Camp lasted till 3. Pm. The Free Medical Camp could not have been possible without the assistance of Dr. Haseb Khan, our dedicated Medical Officer , Ms. Zar Bakht and Ms. Attika our Clinical Psychologists.
Mr. Qurban, Mr. Shahid and Mr. Asad for which we feel grateful to them. Reached home at 6 pm 🙂

72 patients were seen
26were the new patients and 46 reported for the review . 39 belonged to the urban and 33 were from the rural background . 35 were the males and 37 were the female patients.
