It was truly a privilege to meet a young doctor. He unexpectedly came to my office with his mother and said, ‘Sir, you didn’t recognize me.’ I replied, ‘No, I didn’t.’ He continued, ‘I am the person you once advised to stay away from social media, because you said I would become a doctor one day—that I had a brilliant personality and a sharp mind.’ I remembered those words, though I couldn’t place him immediately. And then he said, ‘Sir, I am that person.’ It was an incredible moment for me—knowing that someone followed my guidance during their formative years and achieved their dream of becoming a doctor. It was truly a great moment. Congratulations to him, his family, and his community. I also hope that senior doctors will take part in reforming the community. Beyond just practicing medicine, it is our responsibility to embrace the social aspect of our role—contributing to genuine reconstruction and positive change in the world.”
