Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist and Diabetologist. More than 4 years experience in managing Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetic Patients. Dr Kashan Arshad is currently working as Clinical Fellow In Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at The University of Child Health Sciences, The Children’s Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan, the largest paediatric tertiary care hospital and the first paediatric university of the country. He did his MBBS from University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan (2009) and his Fellowship in Paediatric Medicine(FCPS) from College of Physician and Surgeon Pakistan (2016). Dr Kashan Arshad has been working in the field of paediatric endocrinology and diabetes for last the 4 years. He is an active member of ISPAD, ESPE, ESPE-YES group, ASPED, PES, GPED, and SPED-P. He has participated in GLOBAL Fellowship Programs In Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Buenos Aires, Argentina in feb 2023. Dr Kashan Arshad has attended several national and international conferences, and has won awards for oral and poster presentations in the field of Paediatric Endocrinology. He has arranged many workshops & symposium on endocrine and diabetes. He has many publications. Dr Kashan Arshad has been tirelessly working with many collaborators to improve the healthcare services for children and adolescent with diabetes at public sector hospitals of Pakistan. His hospital is the biggest public sector referral centre for paediatric diabetes including type 1 diabetes, neonatal diabetes, MODY, secondary diabetes and syndromic diabetes. He is the coordinator of the “ADOPT A Child” project to provide free insulin to diabetic children. He is the active member of peer support group Diabeaters (Pakistan). Dr Kashan Arshad has aim to learn about use of technology in manging type 1 diabetes and improve his knowledge in managing rare diabetes and endocrine disorders. His future goal to make a state of art paediatric diabetes and endocrine centre in Pakistan.
