Ingredients You’ll Need:
Beef (Boneless or with bone)
Basmati rice
Onions
Garlic
Ginger
Whole spices (cumin, black peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks)
Ground spices (coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala)
Yogurt
Fresh coriander and mint leaves
Salt to taste
Ghee or oil
Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions:
Preparing the Beef: Begin by marinating the beef in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and spices. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to pe*****te the meat.
Cooking the Beef: In a large pot, heat ghee or oil and sauté the onions until golden brown. Add the marinated beef and cook on medium heat until the meat is tender and fully cooked.
Making the Pulao: Add the whole spices to the pot and sauté for a minute to release their aroma. Then, add the soaked basmati rice and water in a 1:2 ratio. Cook on high heat until the water starts boiling, then reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer until the rice is fully cooked.
Final Touch: Once the rice is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves. Serve hot with raita or your favorite chutney.
Pro Tips:
Perfect Rice: To achieve the perfect texture of rice, make sure to rinse the basmati rice thoroughly before soaking it. This helps remove excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.
Balanced Spices: Adjust the spices according to your taste. If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of green chilies or garam masala.
