Child Dream Center (Educational and Vocational training Complex for Children & Persons Having Special Needs) proudly celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Our respected CEO of Umair Complex , Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar, Consultant Psychiatrist, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences DHQ/Allied Hospital, Faisalabad Medical University, and our dedicated Managing Director, Ma'am Samreen Afzal, Principal Clinical Psychologist at DHQ/Allied Hospitals, graced the occasion. The entire team, along with our wonderful children and students, put in their heartfelt efforts to make the celebration truly special. 💚
We were honored to have our esteemed guests "Dr. Najma Afzal" (Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Health, and is an active member of Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries & Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries.), "Ms. Shazia Shareef" (Host at Radio Pakistan Faisalabad and the head of Channar School System) & Mrs. Rizwana
(Ex Controller Examiner at the Department of Psychology, Government College University for Women, Faisalabad.) joined us, adding warmth and joy to the event. The presence of parents made the day even more memorable, as together we celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity. ✨
There were performances, skits, speeches and national songs prepared and performed by our students and children, and the celebration ended with a cake cutting ceremony and lunch for celebrating Pakistan's Birthday together.

The aim was to educate children about personal boundaries, safety rules, and how to speak up with confidence if something feels wrong.

An insightful workshop titled “Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp)” was conducted on 18th June 2025, in collaboration with Keele University (UK) and KMU, Peshawar, hosted by the Dept. of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, FMU/PMC. It was Organized by Our CEO of Umair Complex , Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar, Consultant Psychiatrist, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences DHQ/Allied Hospital, Faisalabad Medical University, and facilitated by our dedicated Managing Director, Ma'am Samreen Afzal, Principal Clinical Psychologist at DHQ/Allied Hospitals.
The workshop was attended by Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Professionals and students from various institutes. The session offered valuable insights into therapeutic approaches for psychosis and it's management.
Together, we are building bridges across institutions for better mental health practices!
