Faisalabad Medical University (FMU) formerly known as Punjab Medical College (PMC) is the oldest Medical College in Pakistan.
Annals of Punjab Medical College is a quarterly Research Medical Journal. It is an official publication of Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad-Pakistan and is totally funded by the college itself. The objective of this publication is to improve and share the Medical knowledge nationally and internationally without any political intention.
The first issue of this journal was published in 2007 bi-annually. Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain, Professor of Surgery was the first Editor followed by Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal and then Prof. Dr. Safdar Hassan Javed. Presently it is published on quarterly basis. All kind of medical research articles from National and International authors are encouraged for publication. Maximum efforts are being made to keep the publication standards at high levels. Plagiarism is discouraged in any form. It contains review articles, original research articles, case reports and letters to editors. Research articles from undergraduate as well as postgraduate students and young scholars are encouraged for publication. All articles must be written in the light of the guidelines of the International Committee of the Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authors can submit their papers online as well as by hand. Editorial board of this research journal comprises of National and International medical research scholars. The articles are peer reviewed internally and externally.
