وٹامن ڈی ایک نہایت اہم وٹامن ہے جو جسمانی افعال کی بہتری کارکردگی میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ ہڈیوں کی صحت کو بہتر کرنے اور انہیں مضبوط بنانے کے لیے جسم میں وٹامن ڈی کی مقدار متوازن ہونا نہایت ضروری ہے۔

وٹامن ڈی کی کمی کی علامات دنیا بھر میں لوگوں کو متاثر کرتی ہیں۔ ایک تحقیق کے مطابق، دنیا میں تیرہ فیصد لوگوں کو وٹامن ڈی کی کمی کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے۔ اس وٹامن کی کمی واقع ہونے سے ہڈیوں سمیت بہت سی بیماریوں کے خطرات بڑھ جاتے ہیں، جب کہ جسم کو کئی نیوٹرنٹس اور منرلز کو جذب کرنے میں مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے.

ٹیسٹ HbA1C کیا ہے؟
یہ ٹیسٹ مریض کی گزشتہ 3 ماہ کی اوسط شوگر بتاتا ہے
اس ٹیسٹ کے لیے مریض کا خالی پیٹ ہونا ضروری نہیں
شوگر کے مریض کا HbA1C کا رزلٹ 7 سے نیچے ہے تو اس کا مطلب شوگر کنٹرول ہے
جن نارمل افراد کا HbA1C کا رزلٹ 5.7 سے 6.4 کے درمیان ہے وہ شوگر کا مرض ہونے کے رسک پر ہیں
شوگر کے مریض کو چاہیئے کہ ہر 3 ماہ کے بعد لازمی HbA1C ٹیسٹ کروائیں
وہ افراد جن کے والدین یا بہن بھائی میں سے کسی کو شوگر ہےاور ان کی عمر 40 سال یا اس زیادہ ہے وہ بھی HbA1C ٹیسٹ لازمی کروائیں

A manual platelet count is sometimes necessary for a Complete Blood Count (CBC) report to ensure accuracy, especially in cases where automated platelet counts may be unreliable. Automated instruments can sometimes miscount platelets due to factors like clumping or the presence of abnormal cells(Large size). A manual count, typically performed under a microscope, provides a more accurate assessment in such situations and helps in diagnosing conditions like thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) or thrombocytosis (high platelet count). It also helps validate results from automated machines, ensuring the overall reliability of the CBC report.
