نوزائیدہ یرقان
یہ نوزائیدہ بچے کی جلد اور اسکلیرا (آنکھوں) کی زرد رنگت ہے جو خون میں بلیروبن کی اعلی سطح سے نشان زد ہوتی ہے۔ یہ یا تو عام عمل (جسمانی) یا غیر معمولی عمل (پیتھولوجیکل) سے ہوسکتا ہے۔ جسمانی یرقان عام طور پر سات دن سے کم رہتا ہے۔ پیتھولوجیکل یرقان غیر معمولی عمل کی وجہ سے ہو سکتا ہے جس کے نتیجے میں سرخ خلیات کی ضرورت سے زیادہ ٹوٹ پھوٹ ہوتی ہے۔
*یرقان دو عوامل کی وجہ سے نشوونما پاتا ہے- برانن ہیموگلوبن (F) کا ٹوٹ جانا کیونکہ اسے بالغ ہیموگلوبن (A) سے تبدیل کیا جاتا ہے۔ نیز جگر کے ناپختہ میٹابولک راستے جو کہ جوڑنے سے قاصر ہوتے ہیں اور بلیروبن کو بڑوں کی طرح جلد خارج کر دیتے ہیں۔ یہ خون میں بلیروبن کے جمع ہونے کا سبب بنتا ہے۔
نوزائیدہ یرقان کی عام علامات اور علامات؛
✓ زرد جلد
✓ پیلی آنکھیں (اسکلیرا)
✓نیند
✓ شیر خوار بچوں میں کم خوراک لینا
✓ بھورا پیشاب
✓بخار
✓ اونچی آواز میں رونا
✓ قے وغیرہ
*علاج میں زیادہ کثرت سے دودھ پلانا، فوٹو تھراپی، دوائیں، شدید صورتوں میں خون کا تبادلہ وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔
دیر سے یا غیر علاج شدہ نوزائیدہ یرقان بچوں میں سماعت کی کمی اور بولنے کی خرابی کا سبب بھی بن سکتا ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ بچہ Kernicterus (دماغی نقصان کی سنگین شکل، بلیروبن کی زیادتی کی وجہ سے) پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔
اپنے بچے کی آنکھوں اور جلد کا ہمیشہ زرد رنگت کے لیے معائنہ کریں۔ جب آپ دیکھیں کہ آنکھیں اور جلد زرد ہے یا مندرجہ بالا علامات میں سے کوئی علامت نظر آئے تو اپنے بچے کو فوری طور پر ہسپتال لے جائیں۔
اس وقت تک انتظار نہ کریں جب تک یہ خراب نہ ہو جائے۔ تصویر کی مثال؛ فوٹو تھراپی سے گزرنے والا بچہ (یرقان کا فوٹو تھراپی علاج)

ماں کا دودھ اللہ پاک کی طرف سے ایک عظیم نعمت کے ساتھ ساتھ بچے کیلے ایک مکمل اور سستی ترین غذا بھی ھے۔
اگر کس وجہ سے ماں کا دودھ میسر نہ ہو تو گائے یا بھینس کا دودھ کم از کم ایک سال کی عمر تک ہر گز استعمال نہ کرے کیونکہ گاۓ اور بھینس کی دودھ میں آئرن کی کمی ہوتی ھے اور بچے کی بہتر نشونما کیلے مفید نہیں ہے۔

جسکی وجہ سے بچے میں IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA( خون کی کمی) کا خطرہ موجود رہتا ھے ۔
اس صورت میں ڈبے والا دودھ (Formula Milk) بچوں کے ڈاکٹر کے مشورہ سے استعمال کریں۔
