Journal of Liaquat University of Medical & Sciences (JLUMHS) is the official journal of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Pakistan. It has been published since 2002. It is fully open access. The work published here is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. The authors retain the copyrights.
JLUMHS is a double blind, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary medical journal and is published quarterly. All articles submitted for publication are required to conform to the "Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals" as described by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
• Indexed in ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) of Web of Science (Clarivate) since August 2023
• Included in JCR (Journal Citation Report) since 2023

ANOTHER ACHIEVEMENT FOR JLUMHS -- AS A CURRENT HEC POLICY – JLUMHS IS NOW X CATEGORY JOURNAL

Journal of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences is amongst the top few journal of the country in X category as per rankings. As per HEC new policy we are ranked in the X category as we are indexed in Emerging Science Citation Index by Clarivate Analytics (Formerly Thomson Reuters) .

HEC ranking Criteria has been changed with the a objective of bringing it in line with International Practices/Standards and to strengthen Monitoring Systems.

As per Eligibility Criteria our journal is already up to mark. HEC helps journals in Capacity building also by organizing workshops for editors and members of the editorial teams at regular intervals.

Our team is striving to achieve even better standards so that our journal be placed amongst the highest ranked impact factor world class medical journals. In Sha Allah.

With the help of Allah and great efforts by our Chief Editor and worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Ikram Din Ujjan, Our Editor and JLUMHS Editorial board members, it is very satisfying that we are ranked in the higher X Category by HEC Pakistan.
