عالمی یومِ کینسر. 4th February

ایک سرجن کی حیثیت سے، میں ہر روز حوصلہ دیکھتا ہوں۔
وہ حوصلہ جو اسپتال کے کمروں میں، خاموش مسکراہٹوں میں، اور اُن مریضوں میں نظر آتا ہے جو خوف کے باوجود ہمت کے ساتھ علاج کے لیے آتے ہیں۔

کینسر سے لڑنے والے تمام مریضوں سے میرا پیغام ہے: براہِ کرم کبھی امید مت چھوڑیں۔
کینسر ایک مشکل سفر ضرور ہے، لیکن یہ آپ کی زندگی کی کہانی کا اختتام نہیں۔

طبی سائنس روز بروز ترقی کر رہی ہے۔ علاج بہتر ہو رہے ہیں۔ نتائج بدل رہے ہیں۔
اور سب سے اہم بات یہ ہے کہ آپ اس جدوجہد میں اکیلے نہیں ہیں۔ آپ کے ڈاکٹر، نرسز، اور آپ کے پیارے سب آپ کے ساتھ ہیں۔

امید ایک طاقت ہے۔
یہ جسم کو مضبوط اور دل کو سکون دیتی ہے۔
اپنے علاج پر یقین رکھیں، خود پر یقین رکھیں، اور ہر دن ایک قدم آگے بڑھتے جائیں۔

عالمی یومِ کینسر کے موقع پر، میں اپنے تمام مریضوں اور کینسر سے صحت یاب ہونے والوں کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں—
تاکہ آپ کو یاد دلا سکوں کہ ہمیشہ امید ہوتی ہے، ہمیشہ دیکھ بھال ہوتی ہے، اور ہمیشہ آگے بڑھنے کی وجہ ہوتی ہے۔

Prof. Dr. Amir Iqbal Memon is a distinguished surgeon, academician, and mentor with over three decades of service in surgery, education, and healthcare leadership. A graduate of Liaquat Medical College, he holds FCPS in General Surgery and FACS from the USA, with advanced fellowships in laparoscopic surgery from IRCAD Strasbourg and bariatric surgery training from London and Turkey.

He has served in academic and administrative roles since 1993 and was Chairman, Department of Surgery (2023–2025). A dedicated teacher, he has supervised 63 FCPS and 25 MS fellows, shaping generations of surgeons. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he introduced innovative academic reforms, including an e-portal and online examination systems.

Clinically, Prof. Amir has performed over 40,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies along with complex oncological procedures in both government and private practice. His commitment to community service is evident through free medical camps for disaster victims, biannual laparoscopic camps across Sindh, cancer awareness initiatives, and relief work for earthquake victims.

A prolific researcher, he has authored 37 research publications and an international book chapter, with active roles in peer review and editorial boards. His research focuses on breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and advanced surgical techniques, presented widely at national and international forums.

This year, after years of perseverance, he established his own Bariatric Surgery Clinic, successfully performing bariatric surgeries for obese patients—many free of cost—helping them reclaim healthy, active lives. He also made history by arranging four back-to-back live bariatric surgery workshops in Jamshoro and Hyderabad for the first time in Sindh.

Above all, Prof. Dr. Amir Iqbal Memon is revered as a mentor who consistently encourages his students and trainees, passing on not only surgical excellence but also ethics, compassion, and confidence.

‎ چھاتی کا کینسر خواتین میں سب سے زیادہ تشخیص ہونے والا کینسر ہے۔
‎خواتین میں چھاتی کے کینسر کی تشخیص کی اوسط عمر35 سال ہوتی ہے۔
‎ اگر قریبی رشتہ دار، جیسے ماں یا بہن، میں چھاتی کے کینسر کی تشخیص ہو چکی ہو تو اس بیماری کا خطرہ زیادہ ہوتا ہے۔
‎ چھاتی کے کینسر کے بڑھتے ہوئے خطرے کی وجوہات میں موٹاپا، بڑھتی عمر، تولیدی تاریخ اور تمباکو کا استعمال شامل ہیں۔

‎چھاتی کے کینسر کی علامات اور نشانیاں جانیں
‎
‎ سب سے عام علامت **نئی گانٹھ یا گلٹی کا بن جانا ہے۔
‎ یاد رکھیں، زیادہ تر چھاتی کی گلٹیاں کینسر نہیں ہوتیں.

‎بواسیر مقعد کے اردگرد موجود رگوں کی سوجن کو کہا جاتا ہے جو تکلیف اور درد کا سبب بنتی ہے۔ بواسیر کی دو اقسام ہوتی ہیں:
