A balanced diet is one that fulfills all of a person's nutritional needs. Humans need a certain amount of calories and nutrients to stay healthy.

By eating a balanced diet, people can get the nutrients and calories they need and avoid eating junk food, or food without nutritional value.

A balanced diet includes foods from five groups and fulfills all of a person’s nutritional needs. Eating a balanced diet helps people maintain good health and reduce their risk of disease.

A healthful, balanced diet includes foods from these five group;

🔹️vegetables
🔹️fruits
🔹️grains
🔹️protein
🔹️dairy

➡️Tips for healthy eating

1. Choose good carbs, not no carbs. Whole grains are your best bet.

2. Pay attention to the protein package. Fish, poultry, nuts, and beans are the best choices.

3. Choose foods with healthy fats, limit foods high in saturated fat, and avoid foods with trans fat. Plant oils, nuts, and fish are the healthiest sources.

4. Choose a fiber-filled diet, rich in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits.

5. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Go for color and variety—dark green, yellow, orange, and red.

6. Calcium is important. But milk isn’t the only source . You can use other dairy products also.

7. Water is best to quench your thirst. Skip the sugary drinks, and go easy on the milk and juice.

8. Eating less salt is good for everyone’s health. Choose more fresh foods and fewer processed foods.

9. Moderate drinking can be healthy—but not for everyone. You must weigh the benefits and risks.

10. A daily multivitamin is a great nutrition insurance policy. Some extra vitamin D may add an extra health.

🔺️Your body needs Iron  to make haemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen around the body .

🔺️Without it ,your muscles and tissues won't get enough oxygen to be able to work effectively. This leads to conditions called Anaemia.

✔Step-by-Step Instructions

▪️Arrange supportive padding (blanket, block, or bolster) under your sit bones so your hips will be higher than your knees when you come into the pose.

▪️ Come to sit on your padding in a comfortable, cross-legged position. Shift the flesh of your butt to each side with your hands so that your sit bones have a firm foundation.

▪️Lean back and forth and side to side with your torso a few times to make sure your shoulders are aligned directly over your hips. Slide the shoulder blades down your back so your shoulders move away from your ears. The crown of your head should rise towards the ceiling.

▪️ Your hands can rest in your lap or on the tops of your thighs. Turn your palms up to be receptive or down to feel grounded.

▪️On your inhalations, feel your spine grow long. On your exhalations, root down through your seat.
