Glimpse from Seminar on Multidisciplinary Approach on Cerebral Palsy
Head of Department DRS-STMU Dr Abdul Ghafoor Sajjad was invited to Armed Force Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine AFIRM to deliver lecture on "Physical Therapy Management of Total Knee Replacement" on 24th Novemeber 2022.
Dr Abdul Ghafoor Sajjad have thoroughly discussed latest Post-Surgical Rehab protocol and the innovations in Rehabilitation of a patient underwent Total knee Replacement.The Targeted audience of his lecture were graduate trainees, House Officers, Interns, and Clinical Physical Therapist team of AFIRM. Event was hosted by Senior Physical Therapist Dr.Samina Ghulam. A very impressive reflection was collected from the participants regarding the session.

Students of DPT 9th Semester of DRS-STMU visited Armed Force Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) on 29th Nov,2022. Students were directed towards multiple areas of Rehabilitation unit including Prosthetic Orthotics , Rehab OPD, Gym Corridor, patients with Neuromuscular and Musculoskeletal Compromise and much more. It was a very interactive and productive day. Such initiatives add learning strategies onto student's ways of seeking knowledge. We are very thankful to our kind and much supportive Head of Department Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Sajjad DRS-STMU for creating opportunities in career building of final year students. We wish to have more activities into our calendar.
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, STMU has arranged a poster competition and session on Multidisciplinary Approach in Cerebral Palsy in which experts from different professions were invited to shares their expertise in the management of CP child. We are honoured and thankful to our Head of Department DRS STMU Respected Sir Dr Abdul Ghafoor Sajjad for his support and guidance for the Successful event. Indeed it was a great contribution to DRS-STMU.This event was held on 25th Nevember,2022
