Resolution
Request for Support for the Global Campaign to Prevent the Forced Deportation of Migrants
In light of the critical situation of refugees worldwide and the forced deportations that many refugees are facing, we, civil society activists, human rights defenders, and human rights organizations, call on you to join this global campaign to prevent the forced deportation of migrants and express your support for human rights and the dignity of refugees.
Forced deportation of migrants, especially when individuals are compelled to leave their countries due to war, human rights violations, or dire economic conditions, can lead to catastrophic and irreparable consequences. These deportations not only pose a serious threat to their security and well-being but may also expose them to risks such as torture, death, abuse, or imprisonment by the Taliban.
We, the collective activists, call on international organizations and the United Nations to take decisive actions to prevent the illegal and inhumane deportation of migrants and refugees and to support every effort to protect them from such actions.
This appeal is not only a moral responsibility but also an international obligation under human rights laws and the UN Refugee Conventions.
We hope that you will take effective and practical steps in this regard and contribute to the global protection of human rights.
After the recent pause announced by the US government the Afghans waiting for resettlement in the US are now in limbo causing immense mental stress and anxiety. We seek a clarity from the US authorities.
