➡️➡️Why should i scale and polish my teeth??
Harmful bacteria that can cause tooth decay and gum inflammation live in dental plaque and calculus that accumulate around teeth and under the gums.
Scaling will remove plaque,calculus and stain along with bacteria keeping your gums and teeth healthy.
➡️➡️How frequently should i have my teeth scaling and polishing done??
As a general guideline we recommend visits after 6 months unless informed by the dentist.
➡️➡️Do i have to get scaling and polishing done if i have been brushing and cleaning them well?
Yes, because sometimes tooth brush don’t reach deep areas and where there are plaque and calculus deposits present, which require scaling to remove them.

➡️➡️Does scaling and polishing make teeth weak?
Its a safe and routine procedure and doesn’t damage teeth in anyway. It must be done by a dental professional.
