A 24-year-old patient reported with pain and food impaction in the lower left jaw.

🔹 Findings:

Complete soft tissue impaction of the mandibular 3rd molar

Associated pericoronal inflammation

Difficulty in mastication and oral hygiene maintenance

🔹 Treatment:

Performed surgical extraction of the impacted wisdom tooth under local anesthesia

Full-thickness mucoperiosteal flap raised

Tooth removed with minimal bone guttering

Site irrigated and sutured

🔹 Post-op Care:

Analgesics + antibiotics prescribed

Oral hygiene instructions given

Smooth recovery on follow-up
