“It is okay to have depression, it is okay to have anxiety and it is okay to have an adjustment disorder. We need to improve the conversation. We all have mental health in the same way we all have physical health.” —

My name is Zainab Naghman. I am a psychology student at University of Karachi. I intend to pick Clinical psychology next year for my masters. I have attended various seminars and conferences regarding different topics of psychology to enhance my knowledge and learn from the experts. Anger management, relaxation techniques, substance use disorders are just a few examples of those topics.
I personally believe in a making mental health a topic of every day conversation and not something to only be whispered about. That is the reason why I follow your page and attend your live sessions. Someday, I'll definitely volunteer or do an internship with your platform, I'll be waiting for the forms and registration to start. It will be an honour and an amazing learning experience.
Your mental health — your psychological, emotional and social well-being — impacts every area of your life. Having positive mental health allows you to effectively deal with the daily stressors of life, communicate well with others, make healthy decisions and live life to its fullest.
Thus, NPM is excited to invite you to join us in our “Mind Matters” session, in collaboration with Project Yaqeen, wherein our esteemed guest, Ms.Misbah Khan, a renowned psychologist, will be discussing the importance of having a positive mental health and what we can do to achieve and maintain it.
