Meeting with school Teacher at community level regarding Child Protection in schools. We trained our teachers that to help protect our child, the school should have:
- Staff who are trained to identify signs of abuse, including what to do if they or someone else is worried about a child.
- A designated teacher is responsible for dealing with child protection.
- Procedures for checking staff before they work with children.
- A child protection policy includes procedures to be followed if a teacher or other member of staff is accused of harming a child.

Child Protection staff engaged children and adolescents in recreational activities in an effective way to prevent abuse, unhealthy behaviors, and any criminal activity.
To help our children better understand the importance of this approach, we implemented a new state-of-the-art program to engage flood affectees children in recreational activities.

A stormy evening in Mīrpur Khās, Sindh!
The flood unpacked the word we call it *LIFE* and, the world is astonished to see the painful scene of life. To live but HOW? To run but WHERE? And, to fight but WHAT?
If there is no rain, the hot sun scorches the bodies and if it rains, tents fly in the wind and children drown in floods. They fight the hunger or seek protection; they quench the thirst or curse the waters? The questions are many but the answer is NONE.
Life is theirs but the choice is ours to help them with true spirit or leave them to their destiny.

Climate change is here and now -- with record heatwaves, droughts & floods. So many people have lost their lives, homes, families, in fact their everything they ever had because of massive rainfall & floods in Sindh, Pakistan. Living off on the roads, under open sky, with nothing to eat is extremely devastating.
People are in need of almost every other things needed to survive, still far from sufficient. It will take months and even years to properly rehabilitate these people.
We must not fail humanity and the Earth. Therefore Shifa Foundation is making an effort and playing its part.
