Do you know in Pakistan, a significant challenge confronts thousands of wheelchair users who lack essential accessibility features such as ramps in both public and private establishments. This scarcity hinders their mobility within various settings, including offices, educational institutions, hotels, and shopping centers. Even contemporary buildings often overlook the crucial inclusion of interior ramps, intensifying the difficulties faced by wheelchair users.
Within the country's population, around 4% grapple with disabilities, among which 0.25% rely on wheelchairs. The absence of comprehensive legislation requiring the incorporation of ramps in both public and private structures exacerbates this predicament.
In response to these challenges, ElevaFolks has taken the initiative to address this issue through innovative design and fabrication. They are committed to creating advanced wheelchairs equipped with air conditioning, aiming to enhance the quality of life for wheelchair users and contribute to the betterment of society.
